When Chennai couple Mr & Mrs Mahendran, decided to build a home in Chennai they had heard of Prachodaya Homes and turned to us for designing and constructing a private residence for them.

This Kerala style private residence is designed to give its inhabitants a moment of relaxation within Chennai. Situated at Pallikaranai, the residence is a two storey structure with a contemporary touch. The design was guided by the client’s love for vast bedrooms, glass façade, landscape and a central courtyard for ventilation.

The design mirrors a blend of sophistication and subtlety from the exterior, while the interior of the home takes full advantage of the natural light. Space is best utilised in this structure and for us optimizing the available space was a big challenge which we accomplished in the best possible way.
