Fascinating Contemporary

Welcome, and welcome back if this is not your first visit.

I've never been so full of bristling energy. I’m reading bits and pieces of Architecture. Yes you heard it right! Wondering what an MBA is doing with Architecture?? Am slowly but gradually finding it interesting, though sometimes I don’t understand the lingo but I don’t complain. I want to understand what features a contemporary home. These days, am totally drawn towards Contemporary homes, because of their expansive glass tall windows (sometimes in irregular or trapezoid shapes), flat roof, and very little exterior ornamentation. The key to identifying contemporary-designed homes is abundant natural light and presence of many tall windows. These homes generally have unique, custom shapes. A contemporary home allows you to be comfortable without being cluttered. This style usually starts with neutral colours such as white, black or beige as a base for window treatments and wall coverings. I haven’t seen many houses in Chennai with contemporary architecture. Thanks to our Architect to let us see one of his finest creations in Alwarpet. My heart did skip a beat at first sight and I, on the spur of the moment, was resolute that his magic hands do wonders for our project.
So coming to our project EKANTA, We are awaiting full rendered views of elevations and floor plans from our Architect. I will publish it as soon as I get the particulars from our team. Meanwhile happy reading my blog!!!

For those of you who want to see how contemporary homes look, see the images.

  1. The word i immediately wanted to say after seeing this blog is " WOW"

What an extraordinary design for the homes of this modern culture , really this will be the one for the Chennai people looking for years back.

The contemporary design really took my heart ! I am very sad that i couldn't find this group few months back when i invested to buy a flat , but never the less i will surely go for one in the coming years.

Rani a very talented person from the days i know her , for sure she will be reaching good heights very soon.

I have now planned to promote this group to my friends circle and make sure everyone gets the genuine benefits of buying a home in Chennai.

I wish all the very best to Rani and other people involved and esp to Mr.Murali.

  2. First of all, my hearty wishes to you and your team for your project – EKANTA. Hope this would draw attention of the people who wish to have the best homes in Chennai.

Now a days, though people talk of Contemporary buildings, very negligible builders are promoting this model – but at a unfordable price. When I was driving through the areas of T Nagar( off South Boag road), Anna Nagar , Adyar, Alwarpet, Gopalapuram – I could see many houses with contemporary look, but all are individual homes. Now its a question of many, whether we get the contemporary designs in apartment/ flats at an affordable price. You have pocketed the expectations of many and have chosen a right choice to offer to your prospective customers. Wish I could be a one among them.

Kalli Rani Reddy is one of my best friend who is dedicated to her assignments – who always want to have some thing Unique among the lot. Now its her first leap to extend the same to her business. Good Luck Rani.

Looking forward to see EKANTA at a full Swing.
